We are not in a recession?

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

According to results released today, the economy  grew at .9% rate, effectively skirting the start of the anticipated recession.

I don’t believe it!

Someone is stacking the deck,

The weak dollar is helping exports, but we don’t make anything here anymore, so other than foodstuffs what are we exporting?

Warren Buffet on our recession

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

I have been talking recession for 6 or 8 months.

The sinking economy has been drifting lower, and now is beginning fall like a rock. The cost of everything is going up. Inflation has not really been   named as a problem due to the government taking food and fuel increases out of the equation, but those increased costs are soon going to factor into the statistics.

As I have said many times, we are in for a heavy dose of Stagflation.(Increasing price’s , negative economic growth.)

Now Mr Buffet has acknowledged that we are in the beginning of what will be a long and painful recession.

I’m honored that Mr Buffett’s views coincide with my own. He is much better qualified to make these predictions, and my only regret is that I’m afraid we are both right.

Clinton Invokes Spectre of Assasination

Saturday, May 24th, 2008

If you look at the blog I published this morning, you will see that I made the very same connection but 7-8 hours before she said it.

Wow, I’m getting good. Who’d a thunk it.

A Clinton as #2 on a ticket?

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

I don’t know how comfortably I would sleep a night, knowing that my #2, and a heartbeat away from the Presidency, was named Clinton.

Not to cast any aspersions, but accidents happen, and life has a way of taking “funny” twists and turns.

The price of oil is creating big problems

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

I hate to be so right about our economic times.

We are in trouble,.

The unprecedented run up in the price of crude oil is makeing the speculators , and our Islamo Fascist enemies, and their sponsors increadibly rich.

It is makeing us poor, and changeing our lifestyle. Don’t be fooled. This is a permanent change, I’m afraid there will be a time when we will look back on these days as  the “Good Old Days”

Who is selling us out?

Who sat back and lied to us for the last 4-5 years about how good things were.

Who allowed, even encouraged us to over spend and over speculate on buying homes ; even if we couldn’t afford or deserve what we were building and buying.

Our World is being stolen and sold out from under us.

I don’t feel like being some serf/manager for the 21st century version of a feudal lord!!!!

No F…en Way!!!!!

Live free or die.

The Texas Children Taken Illegally

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

The Texas State Supreme court has just ruled that the 400+ children siezed from the “polygamous sect” ranch were siezed illegally.

Without my commenting on the merit of the lifestyle, I feel that justice for the children has been served /.

Oil Up ^ Stocks Down v

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

My Dear Friends, I’ve been telling you and all my loyal readers, that the stock market was in trouble and going lower.

I’ve stopped preaching this particular view, not because my opinion has changed, (I’m very Bearish on the Market) but because being right about the direction of the Dow, is like shooting fish in a barrel.

You don’t need me to state the obvious. We are in trouble. Our economy is in a recession(I know, the politician economists are hedging their views, but they lie)

Anyone who works as an employee or in management, knows that the recession is here, has been for months, and is getting worse.

I have an article ready to publish, which will show you the next economic tidal wave rushing towards us. It is a direct result of the sub prime fiasco, but feels like it will be worse.( Boy do I hope I’m wrong)

Look for my article. The Next Economic Tidal Wave. It will be published in a few days.

Thank you for your support.

Obama, Follow the money

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

I have learned during my lifetime, that the best way to understand an event, especially an illogical occurence, is to Follow The Money.

How was it paid for, who stands to make the  most wealth and  gain the most power.

Charity, and good deeds appears to be a phenomenon of past generations.

Passing off the hundreds of million dollars raised by the Obama campaign, as little people contributing $25 or $50 through the internet sounds great, but smells very much like cow pucks.

How many 50.00 contributions are necessary to add up to 100,000,000.00?

How many minority families, and young idealistic people have the spare $50 or $100?

Sounds like creative doublespeak to me.

Look for my feature article on the subject in the next day or two.

Charlie Champion, a better candidate but much poorer !

Iraq Troops occupy Sadr City

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

This is a very significant move. The Iraqi government is beginning to take control of its own destiny.

Perhaps we are beginning to  win this war.

If this keeps up we may actually be declared successful. We havn’t won any decisive victories in a war since Korea, or perhaps WWII, We have managed to fight in many, and loose too many of our young and brave, but actually winning …Not really ,Perhaps today.
